Right now when you join Ebates you can select a sign-up bonus (choose): A $10 Gift Card to Magazines.com, Red Envelope, ProFlowers or a $5 Ebates Cash Back Credit.

It is free to join & takes less than a minute.

Ebates is a Cash Back Site. You have seen the name on the bottom of many of my post. If I am going to make an online purchase I ALWAYS log through a cash back site- it is like a coupon that pays like a rebate. The amount of the cash back you will receive on a purchase will vary- most of the time you get a percentage of your purchase back (between 1%-30%) and sometimes it gives you a $ amount back on a purchase. There are TONS of merchants that participate like: Target, Victoria's Secret, Walmart, Sephora, Barnes & Noble...just about everyone out there you can think of and some you haven't even heard of.

Here is an example. Let's say I wanted to make an online purchase at Bath & Body Works. I first go to Ebates and log into my account. Then, I type "Bath & Body Works" in the search box. The site will bring up the Bath & Body Works page. It will tell me how much "cash back" I will receive (which is currently 3%).

It will also list any promotions or coupon codes available to help me save even more on my purchase. Then all I have to do is click on the Bath & Body's Work Banner and it "opens a ticket" and takes me directly to the Bath & Body Works site. That's it. The Bath & Body Works site is the exact same site I would have gone to if I had typed in www.bathandbodyworks myself. I don't have to do anything else. I shop and checkout just as I would if I didn't log through Ebates- the only difference is that sometime within the next 30 days (usually less than a week) I will have a cash back credit from my purchase in my Ebates account. (Woo-hoo)

The cash back starts adding up and pretty soon you can score yourself a pretty good little check. Plus, You will get a $5 Sign up Bonus (or right now you can choose a special $10 Gift Card instead) and they have a great "Refer-a-Friend" program.
