Where to buy Coffee lovers gift?
I have big coffee lover. She love coffee beans and not gridded coffee. I want to buy her gift and I like it to be coffee beans.
I am in Austin, TX. Is there is a local shop where I can buy a gift basket full of coffee beans.

Hmm. Ask around at good cafes and see who their roaster is. Also find out your coffee-loving friend’s favorite type of coffee (there are actually a lot of different coffees). Then contact the roaster.

You can yahoo or google a local place:
Fair Bean Coffee
(512) 444-2326
2210 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78704
Johnny Beans Coffee Catering
(512) 736-0272
Austin, TX 78717
Mozart’s

Baskets may not be included…usually in sealed bags, but I found these local places you can call…and there are a lot of other resources via mail order. Good luck with your friend’s gift. You might include a really nice french press.

Sweet Maria’s is a California "everything coffee" shop. I buy my green beans there and got my first roaster from them as well as my favorite coffee brewer.
!st In Coffee is a great site for tons of coffee related gear. Got my espresso gear from them.
They should have something your friend will love.

Look in the phone book. I did a Google search for Austin coffee shops and there were several independent stores that are not Starbucks. Most places like that have gift baskets that they will sell you.

If you want guaranteed fresh coffee beans or any coffee making product or accessories try on line at SWEET MARIA’S.
IF you don’t care about freshness, if you just want beans…go to *$’s or anyone else that sells packaged roasted warehoused coffee.

My parents LOVE coffee, so for holidays or anniversaries or whatever, I pick up a variety of bags of coffee for them at stores like Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx. You can easily get a basket from there and toss those bags in there. You have taken the time to actually make the gift personal.
