In college, I started buying, renovating, and renting homes in South Florida, where I've tackled more than a dozen to date. After graduating with my degree in Architecture, I dabbled with practicing, then dipped my toe into building technology sales, eventually becoming the Executive Director of a mid-size commercial specialties company, which I left last year. These days, as a brand new 30-nothing, I still spend my time tearing up houses and sleeping on concrete floors, except now I have to fight over the blankets. After a whirlwind courtship that began with (what else?) a plumbing disaster, Andrew and I tied the knot in May of 2009 -- just 2 short weeks after finding out that his company was relocating us to the Jacksonville area (which, with the grits and oh-so-neighborly waving, might as well be a foreign country to us).Together we have 4 dogs, way too many houses, and enough projects to keep me out of trouble. Or so he thinks. Either way, I hope you'll join me for our adventures, misadventures, and all of the amusing insanity sandwiched between. If you still want to know more, pop on over to the posts A Lot More About The Little Girl and Hello There, Cheater, to find out details about who I am and how I ended up constantly covered in dust.
